about

i wrote this song for a friend after we had a falling out. he said, " we were never friends ", and then, less than a minute later , someone asked me if i wanted to go to a cremation. i said yes and we went in a taxi to see the huge funeral towers being burnt.
i'd been staying with my friend in bali, but that night i had nowhere to go. luckily i had my guitar and $6 with me, so i found a little hotel, and wrote this song in the lovely echos of the bathroom
